‘Joy to watch’… Liverpool talent earning big praise after Man of the Match display on international duty

There has been plenty of excitement surrounding some of Liverpool’s young players in recent weeks. Now, one of the club’s loaned-out talents is turning heads on international duty.

Liverpool have struck gold in terms of their youth development and whoever has found and nurtured these talents deserves enormous praise.

Jarell Quansah, Conor Bradley, James McConnell, Bobby Clark, Lewis Koumas, Jayden Danns, the list of Liverpool talents emerging this season just goes on and on.

Some of those players have benefited from loans away with Quansah and Bradley both featuring in League One last season.

The pair bypassed the Championship and have now become important players at Anfield, featuring prominently of late.

Liverpool do still send some prospects to the Championship though and one player who seems to be benefiting from a spell in the second tier this season is Tyler Morton.

Tyler Morton impresses Harvey Elliott

Morton spent last season on loan at Blackburn Rovers, racking up more than 40 appearances before heading back to Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp seemingly felt that Morton wasn’t quite ready for Premier League action and sanctioned another Championship spell, this time with Hull City.

Morton is racking up the Championship appearances once again and certainly seems to be developing well under Liam Rosenior.

The Reds talent is a key part of the England Under-21’s and certainly showed that with his performance against Azerbaijan on Friday.

Harvey Elliott may have scored twice but it was Morton who won the Man of the Match award for his display in the England midfield.

Morton has taken to Instagram to celebrate his award and Elliott was right there in the replies, stating ’so good man! Wow man’ having been impressed with his fellow Liverpool talent.

Jarell Quansah simply stated ‘wow’ whilst the likes of Calum Scanlon, James Balagizi, Owen Beck, Bobby Clark and Lewis Koumas all offered their support and congratulations.

Bournemouth’s Alex Scott called Morton a ‘joy to watch’ whilst Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers suggested that he is a ‘pleasure to play with’.

Morton is doing all he can to impress Liverpool, taking his chances with both Hull and England.

People inside Liverpool will certainly be paying close attention and Morton will hope that he has impressed enough to land a first-team role next season.
