talkSPORT betting tips – Best football bets and expert advice for Friday 29 March

There’s a full fixture list of EFL action on Good Friday, including 12 Championship matches spread across the first day of the long Easter Weekend. .

With the battle to win promotion and the fight to survive hotting up, we’ve selected three bets for you to consider across the three divisions.

Bet of the day

Lincoln City v Leyton Orient – Lincoln to win @ 20/21

Lincoln are arguably the in-form team in the EFL at the moment and they look to extend their unbeaten run to 14 games when they host Leyton Orient on Friday.

The Imps are up to eighth in League One and have won their last three games, 1-5 at Barnsley, 6-0 at home to Cambridge and 5-0 against Bristol Rovers at Sincil Bank.

Although the O’s are just three points behind their opponents, they have been struggling for wins and goals in recent weeks.

Richie Wellens’ men have collected just two wins in their last five matches and have scored just twice during that run.

Special of the day

Hull City v Stoke City – Bet Builder: Hull City to win / Lyden Gooch to be shown a Card / Over 3.5 Cards @ 27/4

Just three points and one place separate Hull City from the play-off places and they will expect to collect another victory against struggling Stoke on Friday.

Despite drawing their last four, the Tigers are unbeaten in seven and they will see this as a must-win game, against a Stoke side that have lost four of their last five on the road.

The Potters’ problems are highlighted by the fact that they are joint fourth in the Championship for yellow cards, with 84 bookings in 38 games.

Hull have also collected their fair share, averaging 2.10 per match after receiving 78 yellows so far this term.

Wing-back Lyndon Gooch is one player who could have his hands full on Friday, with Tigers’ pair Anass Zaroury and Fabio Carvalho in fine form for the hosts.

Long shot of the day

Wimbledon v Harrogate – Half-time / Full-Time 90 mins: Draw HT / Harrogate FT @ 12/1

Two teams still in the mix for a League Two play-off spot meet at Plough Lane on Friday, as Wimbledon play host to Harrogate.

Just four points separate the two sides, with the Dons currently four places above their opponents and one point outside the top seven.

Harrogate, though, have been impressive on the road this season, with just two defeats in their 15 away league games – those losses came at Crawley and league leaders Mansfield.

Fresh from their 3-0 win over Yorkshire rivals Bradford last week, Town will feel they can spring a surprise and keep themselves in the play-off hunt.

It’s also worth noting that Simon Weaver’s men have kept clean sheets in three of their last four away games and that Wimbledon have only won two of their last six on home soil.
