Town dominated the first half but without finding the net before the Sky Blues improved in the early stages of the second, however, Town restored their superiority and Clarke opened the scoring in the 72nd minute and Burns came off the bench to score his first goal in 19 months on 83 to secure the three points and what could prove to be a very significant victory.
